Non-Human Use Fluoroscopy Training

CLICK HERE to listen to and view the training program entitled "Radiation Safety Training for Fluoroscopy in Research."  You must view the presentation as a "Slide Show".  To do so, select the "Slide Show" button on the bottom right hand toolbar. It may take 5-10 seconds to download the presentation.  Make sure to turn on your speakers.  To exit the presentation at any time, press "Esc."

Unit Operators - Complete a Rad. Safety Form A-3x "Authorization to Use X-Ray Equipment for Non-Human Research" and submit it to the Radiation Safety Office (by fax, email, or campus mail).  Once this form is received, you will need to take a short test covering your training.  After the test is completed and reviewed, you will be added as an authorized user for the x-ray device designated on your paperwork.

Non-Operators - Complete a Rad. Safety Form A-3xb "Radiation Safety Training For Fluoroscopic Non-Human Research (Non-Operator)" and submit it to the Radiation Safety Office (by fax, email, or campus mail).  No testing is required.
