The RSC has overall responsibility for the University's radiation safety program. The RSC coordinates the activities of various radiation safety committees, reviews the University's radiation safety program, and makes policy decisions. The RSC meets at least annually and its members include the Dean of the School of Medicine, Chairman of the Radionuclide Radiation Safety Committee, Chairman of the Radioactive Drug Research Committee, Chairman of the Machine-Produced Radiation Safety Committee, the Radiation Safety Officer, and other University officials.
